Overview:
The CE-3 was the standard issue chorus pedal for the 80’s guitarist. Great sounding, and reliable. Easy to get that shimmering tone in mono, and gets even bigger when used in stereo.
UseJust Three controls. The Rate knob controls the speed of the oscillation, and Depth controls how deep the swell goes. Stereo or Mono modes. Powered by a 9V battery or an AC adaptor.
Tone:Produces a very clean tone and does not detract from the natural signal. Like most early pedal it is not true bypass though.
Construction:Medal case and very sturdy. Built to last through the ages.
Availability:The Boss CE-3 was mass produced in the 80’s, and can be easily found on Reverb, and Ebay.
