The MXR classic distortion is exactly what it sounds like, a modern version of the early style distortion effect. A big full sounds, but not over the top gain. Get that big arena full stack sound from a little black box.

Overview:
A classic rock distortion pedal. Very Warm distortion and feel. Good for Tube or solid state apps. It’s best turned up loud.
UseEasy to use, three control knobs. Output controls the volume, tone, and distortion for amount of gain.
Tone:Nice and gainey, but not too much. Good harmonics and low end. Very responsive to pick stroke and pickup type. With the gain turned low works are a great boost pedal also.
Construction:Metal case, solid components. Modern production pedal.
