The Octa/Fuzz by FullTone is an Octave-Up/Fuzz pedal modeled after the Tycobrahe Octavia. Or as it says in the manual an EXACT reproduction. The Octa/Fuzz is a beautifully made pedal from the blue powder-coat paint finish down to the craftsmanship of the circuitry. Then there is the tone, which is unmistakably unique.

Overview:
The Octa/Fuzz produces the classic octave-up and Fuzz combination made famous by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. It is a faithful reproduction of the Tycobrahe Octavia.
UseThe pedal easy to use. The bypass switch engages the effect. There is a Volume knob that controls the volume of the effect, and a Boost knob for gain. The gain ranges from a clean boost tone, up to a full fuzz in your face type of tone. There is a selector switch to have just fuzz, or engage the octave-up, which produces the classic Hendrix type fuzz and octave tone.
Tone:Great fuzz sound, warm but on fire. Fully engaged it gives a great Hendrix tone and everything in between.
Construction:Solid metal casing, thumb screws for detaching the base. Ultra clean circuit board design. Hand numbered on the inside. Ours is #6793 from 2012. Be careful with the adaptor the pedal uses a reversed Polarity type input. It is a 9V DC, Center pin positive design. THe unit can also be powered by a 9v battery.
